TURNING SET-BACKS INTO COMEBACKS

OVERCOMING OBSTACLES- The Amy Purdy Story

#Amy Purdy had to overcome tremendous obstacle at a very young age. When she was 19, she lost both her legs to meningitis. As the result of the meningitis, she also had to have a kidney transplant. Through the obstacles and setbacks, she overcame her physical limitations and through the hardships, developed in an inner strength and confidence that propelled her to becoming a world champion in adaptive snowboarding and earned her bronze medal in the recent paralympics for the USA.
For Purdy, being a world champion and bronze medal winner wasn't enough, so she is now on Dancing With The Stars and doing extremely well.
Obviously, #Amy Purdy knows how to turn a set-back into a comeback. She experienced a major crucible of life and has been purified by its refining fire. Through that process, she gained a confidence that will carry her a lifetime and in the process, has set and example that anyone could look to for inspiration! Thanks +#J. Warrington.
We have all experienced moments or will experience moments in our lives that challenge us and our reaction to those moments will determine how they shape us; not if, but how.

What do you think? Have you heard of Amy Purdy? How have you turned your set-backs into comebacks?
